DR SAMANTHA LEE

Dentist

Dr Samantha Lee has over ten years of experience in the dental industry. She has worked in regional and metropolitan areas of New South Wales, Australia. Although born in Sydney, Samantha has spent most of her dental career in the country areas of NSW, giving back to the people of small, local communities. Her meticulous nature ensures her patients are always left confident and satisfied.

ADRIANA LEE

Oral Health Therapist

Adriana has gained her experience in various parts of NSW from working in private regional dental clinics to large corporate dental clinics. Adriana confidently treats patients of all ages to the highest degree of care. She has a special interest in oral health in children and elderly people. She finds nothing more rewarding than giving back to the community by servicing others.

What to expect at your first dental visit

Upon booking your first appointment, our friendly staff will send you a link to fill out a digital Medical History Form. It is ideal for you to complete the form prior to attending the appointment. If you cannot complete the form prior, please arrive 10 minutes earlier to complete a Medical History Form in our waiting area. A completed Medical History Form is essential to ensure our team is able to provide you with the highest quality of personalised care.

As soon as our team is ready for you, one of our staff members will lead you into one of our pre-prepared clinic rooms. At the start of your appointment and prior to any procedure, our team will request that you share any concerns or issues you have related to your teeth and gums.

Our qualified and experienced dental practitioners will conduct a thorough assessment of your current teeth and gums. To aid this process, our dental practitioners may request dental x-rays to be taken of your teeth. X-rays may include; small dental x-rays (individual teeth), an OPG (full mouth) or a 3D Cone Beam X-Ray (fine detail of the jaw structure in a three-dimensional view).

Your dental practitioner may offer you a scale and clean of your teeth to remove tartar build-up. Post-clean, fluoride may be applied to reduce dental decay and teeth sensitivity. Your dental practitioner will then discuss with you the condition of your teeth and gums and may suggest a personalised treatment plan for you.

At the end of your appointment, one of our staff members will lead you back to the reception for payment, healthfund claims and to book future appointments. If additional appointments for treatment are not required, you may be able to book your next 6-monthly check up to secure your next appointment.

CHILD DENTAL BENEFITS SCHEDULE

The Australian Government's dental scheme, the 'Child Dental Benefits Schedule', allocates $1000 to
any eligible child’s dental treatment over 2 calendar years for most dental services, including examinations, x-rays, scale and cleans, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions.

If you are eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, please let our team at Smilee White Dental know that you are eligible and we will arrange to bulk bill you on the day for any services performed under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule. This means no out of pocket for services performed under the scheme up to the available limit which is set at $1000 per eligible child over 2 calendar years.
